Adam Fuss

  1. Adam Fuss has been one of my all time favorite artists since I arrived at AIB. I made similar pieces during my sophomore year for my color class. However, of course, my pieces were never quite as amazing as Adam Fuss's. He has very different techniques that I could not actually use in school. He does many different things with water and he has a positive color head, rather than a negative color head like we do in the darkrooms. I will always love his work.

  2. His work makes me want to get right into alt pro, I'm even more pumped to start after seeing this. It also spikes my curiosity at what techniques he used and what are available to us. The possibilities seem endless.

  3. Adam Fuss' work is instantly recognizable. Ever since learning about him and his unique process of pinhole and photograms i've never been able to shake him. His work with the rabbit hearts, livers, and innards strewn over the print surface really has stuck with me. I love the way the body heat, fluids, and blood, react with the chemicals, producing bold colorful vibrant reds, yellows, and blues. Much like how when we experimented with our objects against the scanners our outcome had different colors and effects.

  4. I would really love to further look into how he made these images. I love images that have a ripple effect or i know have been made with water or wind, kinda of like sand art almost! thats sort of what these remind me of!
